Co-authored by yours truly. I can objectively say that it’s a great book to reach for when you need to know how to do something in Photoshop. Bonus: there’s a PDF version of the book, as well as tons of sample images on the disc accompanying the book.

The Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS L lens is a superb piece of glass, and this is Canon’s most recent update to what was already a de facto standard bit of gear in many pro photographers’ kits.

Just got this a few months ago as an upgrade to my trusty Rebel XT, and am blown away by this piece of hardware. Great high ISO performance, myriad customization options, and astonishingly good video.

The second update in as many years to Canon’s high-end PowerShot series. The G12 features a large swivel-out lcd display, a 10 mega-pixel DIGIC 4 sensor, and (finally) 720p HD video recording.

Umpteen levels of pressure sensitivity (seriously - “umpteen” - look it up), ambidextrous support, tons of express keys which are customizable six ways from Sunday. Also available in a wireless bluetooth model.

Gonna step my Papervision game up.

I don’t have this yet, but lots of photographers I respect swear by it. Get it.
